School Development Plan and Improvement Results

Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School is pleased to announce the School Development Plan for the 2025-26 school year. This is an important action plan for JCS to improve student learning, focusing on academic achievement and well-being. Our plan aligns with the CBE's broader Education Plan and is supported by school specific data each year.

The School Improvement Results Report has also been posted. This report details the progress on and achievement of goals in the School Development Plan from the 2024-25 school year. It also includes results for JCS from the Alberta Assurance Surveys completed by students, teachers, and parents.

Student Parking Lot

With winter’s arrival and an increase in the requests for Student Parking Pass, JCS would like to remind students and parents of the expectations in our student parking lot. If students are experiencing any conduct in the parking lot that does not meet these expectations, they are encouraged to speak with an administrator.

(No credit or debit will be available on the night of the performances). We are so excited to show you what we have been working on this semester.

Based on the classic cult film and the popular board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins in 1954 at a remote mansion where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth (the butler) and Yvette (the maid), Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up.

Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave audiences in stitches as they try to figure out...WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Content Warning: CLUE: High School Edition) includes prop weapons such as revolvers and daggers. There is also flashing lights and loud sounds which include gunshot sound effects. The plot references themes which include various reasons a person may pay blackmail and/or commit murder.

We really appreciate your support of the JCS Drama Department and hope to see you all there.
