Welcome, JCS Families!
We would like to welcome all students and their families to the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. As a staff, we are incredibly excited to welcome students back and reconnect with families after their many summer adventures.
Monday August 31, 2026: First Day of School Schedule
To support student transitions back to school on Monday August 31, 2026 we will be using the following modified schedule to welcome back grade cohorts:
- Grade 10 Students: Arrive at 8:30 am and meet in the upper hub just inside the main doors for orientation activities. Schedules for the morning will be provided to all students upon arrival. Dismissal time is 3:38 pm.
- All Students: Free hot dog lunch from 12:00pm-12:35 pm
- Grade 10, 11 & 12 Students: Mini timetable beginning at 12:35 following a shortened Monday timetable.
- We will follow our normal Tuesday Bell Schedule on Tuesday September 1, 2026. Please note that the school cafeteria not be open for the first two weeks of school while Culinary classes get organized. Stay tuned to the Raven Post for cafeteria opening information.

Student timetables will be visible in MyCBE/PowerSchool on Monday August 17, 2026. Please see the Back to School message with more information that will be sent in early August from the school.

Please mind City of Calgary traffic and by-laws directly around the school. Parents and students, please use the student parking lot off Seton Drive SE, rather than the YMCA’s parking lot, as this impacts their ability to support clients.

School Supplies
Please bring your own basic school supplies, such as pens, pencils, and binders with paper. Your teachers will let you know if additional supplies are required.

Off-Site Activities
