2026-27 Course Requests and 2026 Graduation Checks
Course Requests for Current Grade 10 and 11 JCS Students
Considerable work has gone into preparing for the 2026-27 school year. During Period 2 Raven Time on February 19, 2026 all grade 10 and 11 students were provided a copy of their Detailed Academic Report (DAR), a three year course planner, and a 2026-27 Course Selection sheet. Instructions were also provided to complete these sheets and to complete course requests in PowerSchool. Parents are encouraged to review their student's three year course planner and 2026-27 Course Selection sheets. Once parents are in agreement, they can sign the Course Selection sheet and send it back with their student by March 16, 2026 to be handed to their Period 2 teacher.
The guides for completing this work linked above are also available on the Student Success Centre D2L Page that your student has access to via CBE D2L.
Graduation Checks for Current Grade 12 JCS Students
During Raven Time on February 19, 2026 all Grade 12 students were provided a copy of their Detailed Academic Report (DAR) and a Are You Ready to Graduate sheet. These sheets were completed by Grade 12 students using the provided instructions, signed, and returned to their Period 2 teachers. This is just one additional failsafe the school is using to ensure students successfully complete high school.
