Winter Concert

Congratulations on the outstanding performance by our choir and bands at the Jubilee Auditorium on Monday. The dedicated effort and preparation invested in this event truly paid off. We appreciate our incredible teachers for their hard work and leadership in making this possible.

School Fees

JCS School fees for Semester 1 are now available to view and pay. Parents, please login to MyCBE to view and pay your students’ school fees from JCS. The CBE offers many flexible payment options, including instructions for finding and paying fees. Any parents who are unable to pay school fees should visit the CBE’s central fee waiver webpage for more information on applying for a fee waiver.

Student Parking Lot

With winter’s arrival and an increase in the requests for Student Parking Pass, JCS would like to remind students and parents of the expectations in our student parking lot. If students are experiencing any conduct in the parking lot that does not meet these expectations, they are encouraged to speak with an administrator.

Yearbooks

The 2025-2026 yearbooks are on sale now at a cost of $50.00. Families can order their yearbooks here: https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A02182920

Student Success Centre

The Semester 2 Course Change Request Form will open Friday December 5 at 9:00am and close Friday January 9 at 5:00pm. The link to the form will be available on the JCS Student Success D2L page and is available here. Due to the high volume of requests for course changes, we hope to expedite the process by using this online form.

Please read and review the course change request policies carefully before submitting a request.

  1. Changes will not be made based on switching to a specific teacher (or switching out of a specific teacher's class).
  2. If you are requesting a course that you have not been recommended for, your student advisor will reach out to you and your parents/guardians for further action.
  3. If a course request cannot be accommodated, "See Counsellor" will be added to your timetable - please make an appointment to speak to your Student Success Advisor. Teaching assignments often change, the teacher listed on your timetable may not be the teacher when the class begins in Semester 2.
  4. Courses cannot be moved to different periods because of other commitments.  Students are expected to be available for classes during the times they are scheduled and for all periods of the school day.
  5. This form will ensure that student advisors receive and address every student's request. Only one request will be needed. Once you have submitted, you will not be able change it, or submit again.
  6. Student Advisors will only contact you if there are questions regarding your schedule. Please be patient and check PowerSchool often for changes to your schedule. Students are required to follow their schedule as seen on PowerSchool until the change has been made.
  7. Please note: We may not be able to accommodate more than 4 courses per semester through a combination of in-person classes at JCS and CBe-Learn. If you are needing to take 5 or more courses in a semester, please make an appointment with your SSC Advisor.

All schedules are subject to change up until the first day of classes. Please continue to monitor your schedule on PowerSchool.

*Last minute changes often occur, so do not consider your timetable final until the first day of class.*

Grade 12 Students:

Please watch for incoming communication regarding graduation requirements. As the SSC team, we will begin meeting with students who require additional supports first to ensure graduation requirements can be met. Stay tuned for more information.
